Who Is Jeff Snyder?

I’m Jeff Snyder–a recruiter, coach, husband, father, entrepreneur, great friend, and risk taker. I started playing ice hockey at age 43 and have since skated over 500 hockey games since 2010. The fitness I’ve gained from hockey has saved my life more than once.

In my life, I’ve had to work harder than most people to overcome significant adversity. I know how to set and achieve goals that most people have never had to address. I believe in connecting one’s words to one’s actions in order to build deep, meaningful, trusting relationships. It is my mission to help my clients learn how to connect their natural giftedness with the work they do so they can deliver the best version of themselves in all facets of their lives.

I completed a BA in Marketing from the University of Kentucky. Since 1990, as a technology and executive recruiter, I have placed and enhanced the careers of Information Technology, Information Security, Corporate Security, Risk Management, IT Audit, Compliance and Privacy professionals around the globe through SecurityRecruiter.com. This work includes work at the CEO, CIO, CISO, CSO, CTO levels and more.

Coaching Story and Credentials

Around 2007, clients and job candidates challenged me to provide coaching services. I listened and responded by doing research to find out what businesses wanted, needed and expected from technology and security professionals. I learned about the gaps that commonly exist between technology professionals and the organizations the serve.

After acquiring training and certifications focused on coaching, I created Resume Coaching, LinkedIn Coaching and Personal Branding Coaching Coaching services to assist my clients with their personal branding and marketing.
